Allmount is a Mac and iPhone app made by Twistor Labs Private Limited, a software company based in India. This policy explains what the app does with your data. The short version: Allmount has no servers of its own and sends nothing to the developer.
What we collect
Nothing. Allmount has no account system, no sign-up, and no server of its own. The app does not collect your name, email address, device identifiers, usage data or file contents. We cannot see what you store or which providers you use.
Where your credentials live
When you add a connection, you paste an access key and a secret key for your storage bucket. Allmount stores them in the Keychain on your device, encrypted by the operating system. They are shared only with Allmount's own Finder extension on Mac and Files extension on iPhone, which need them to read and write your files. They are not sent to the developer or to anyone else. They are marked device-only, so iCloud Keychain never syncs them to another device. Deleting a connection removes its keys from the Keychain.
What leaves your device
Allmount sends requests directly to the storage endpoint you configured, such as your Cloudflare R2, Amazon S3 or Backblaze B2 bucket, or your own MinIO server. Those requests carry your credentials and your files. Apart from purchase checks, described below, nothing else leaves the device. There is no relay, proxy or intermediate server operated by us.
Your storage provider sees these requests, including your IP address, and handles them under its own privacy policy. Please read your provider's policy to understand what it logs.
Purchases
Allmount Pro is sold through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple processes the payment and holds your payment details. The developer receives no card number, billing address or other payment information.
To check whether Pro is unlocked, the app uses RevenueCat, a service that confirms purchases with Apple. RevenueCat receives your purchase receipt and an anonymous app user ID that the app creates. That ID is not linked to your name, email or files. RevenueCat handles this data under its own privacy policy.
Analytics and crash reports
Allmount contains no analytics, no tracking and no advertising code. The app does not phone home. The only crash reporting is Apple's own, which runs if you have chosen to share analytics with developers in your device settings. Those reports come from Apple, contain no file contents or credentials, and you can turn them off at any time in Settings under Privacy & Security.
Third parties
Three third parties are involved:
- Your storage provider. You pick it, you hold the account, and your files go there directly.
- Apple. For purchases, app distribution, and optional crash reports.
- RevenueCat. Only to confirm your Pro purchase, using your receipt and an anonymous app user ID.
We do not sell, share or transfer any data to anyone else. There is no data to sell.
Downloaded copies
Files you open are cached on your device by the system so they open faster next time. These copies stay on your device. You can remove them with Remove Download in Finder or Clear downloads in the app's settings.
Children
Allmount is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone. Since the app collects no data, there is nothing to delete, but if you believe a child has used the app in a way that concerns you, email us.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or erase. Requests about data held by your storage provider, Apple or RevenueCat should go to them.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever starts collecting anything, this policy will change first and the effective date at the top will move. Material changes will also be noted in the App Store release notes.
