Google Cloud Storage
Google Cloud Storage accepts S3-style requests through its interoperability API using HMAC keys. Create the key on a service account rather than your personal account so you can revoke it without touching your login.
- Access key and secret
- Bucket name
- Region auto
Steps
- In the Google Cloud console, pick or create a project and open Cloud Storage. Create a bucket and note its location.
- Open IAM & Admin, then Service Accounts, and create a service account for Allmount.
- Back in the bucket, open Permissions and grant the service account the Storage Object Admin role on that bucket.
- In Cloud Storage, open Settings and look for the Interoperability tab.
- Under service account HMAC keys, choose Create a key for a service account and pick the account you made.
- Copy the Access key and Secret. The secret is shown once.
Next: open Allmount and pick Google Cloud Storage. If something does not work, see troubleshooting.
